Silkysiam focuses on breeding
healthy pet and show quality kittens. Pet quality kittens
will be placed in select loving homes. Show
quality kittens are sometimes available as an alter to select
loving homes. Silkysiam
primarily offers Seal & Chocolate Point Siamese.
Kittens are weaned and
socialized and not raised in cages 4-5 weeks of age up until
ready for placement.
Kittens are altered prior to
placement and are available 16-18
weeks of age. Please do not submit requests for 8 week old kittens.
It is essential they receive the proper care and socialization
prior to leaving. They receive 3 vaccinations at 3-4 week
intervals starting at 8 weeks of age and need to complete the
entire kitten series. All kittens are checked by my veterinarian
before placement and will accompany
a veterinarian health certificate for domestic transportation to
ensure they are healthy when you receive them. I prefer not to ship kittens and to place
locally.
Pet ownership is a big
responsibility and before you decide to own, you should ask
yourself these questions:
1) Do I have time to spend
with my new feline companion?
2) Do I have time to feed
them and can I provide them with a high quality diet?
3) Am I able to provide
veterinarian care for shots and emergencies that may arise at
any given time?
4) Do I have any obstacles
that would prevent me from keeping my new feline companion for a
very long time?
You should be able to answer
"YES" to all these questions or wait until your situation
changes.
Before placing a kitten in a new
home, I initially speak to the new prospective owner over the
phone to get to know them better and the environment in which
the kitten will be raised in. I will ask questions which will
help me determine certain factors required for pet ownership. I
encourage a visit to my cattery to show how I raise my kittens
and the environment they are raised in after they have had their
first shot. I maintain a clean and healthy cattery and provide
high quality nutrition for proper growth.

your request to be considered for a kitten or cat.
3) I will contact you in the order
received based on your kitten preference and kitten availability. The
purpose is so I can get to know more about the prospective owner
and the environment in which the kitten will be raised in (if
you are contacted, this does not guarantee placement).
4) You will be contacted again once a
decision has been made to offer placement.
5) Make an appointment to visit my cattery
or request pictures be emailed for selection.
6) Deposit is required to reserve a
kitten to guarantee a hold and is non-refundable. |
